In the sacred hills of Andalucía, a timeless legacy is taking root. House of Andalus is restoring a land once shaped by centuries of faith, knowledge, and stewardship and we invite you to become part of this living renewal.

 

Our vision: to plant and nurture 1,000 olive trees on this ancient land, creating a pioneering project rooted in history, community, and faith. Through this, we aim to restore not just the soil, but the spirit of a region whose olive groves once nourished a civilisation and now stand at risk.​

 

Why Olive Trees?

 

The olive tree is more than a symbol. Across history and sacred traditions, it has represented peace, resilience, nourishment, and light. In Al-Andalus, olive cultivation was not simply agriculture, it was an art, a way of life, and an act of stewardship passed down through generations.

 

Today, Andalucía’s olive groves, recognised for UNESCO World Heritage potential, are under severe threat from droughts, flash floods, and deforestation.

 

How You Can Help

 

By adopting an olive tree, you become part of regenerating Andalucía’s landscape and legacy in a way that is personal, tangible, and open to you. Your tree will be planted, nurtured, and harvested by local farmers and land stewards, helping to ensure a sustainable future for both the environment and the communities who care for it.

 

For £1,000, your tree becomes a living legacy, a symbol of remembrance, love, or Sadaqah Jariyah (continuous charity). It absorbs carbon, restores biodiversity, provides local livelihoods, and supports the foundation of the House of Andalus Heritage Centre & Social Enterprise.
